Summerfield Elementary is a learning community that improves student academic achievement by encouraging lifelong learning.  Tucked neatly off of Ardis Taylor, in Southern Hills, Summerfield is one of the last of a vanishing breed of neighborhood schools.  Summerfield Elementary prides itself in taking time to care.  Faculty, staff, and parents embrace the neighborhood concept and co-exist to provide a safe, structured environment where our students are nurtured and cared for by everyone they meet.
